The first mirror over the bed was invented by the French, in the 1660s, on the orders of Louis XIV. It actually took a very long time and much technical progress to invent. It is unfair to give all credit to Horace.
Well, I was just trying to strengthen my point and was not aware of Quadra's precedence. Thanks for introducing clarity, I was wondering myself about this technological discrepancy.
