Там объяснена разница между "preponderance of evidence", "clear and convincing evidence" и, собственно, "beyond a reasonable doubt".

Standard of Proof никакого отношения к Jury Trial не имеет, это понятия из разных областей. Как "тёплое" и "мягкое".
