Ужасно извиняюсь, но вот эта штука мне фактически приснилась сегодня именно в таком виде, я только чуть ее отредактировал. Дедушка Фрейд чего-то там свербит в подсознанке. Не поручусь за худдостоинства, но если перевести, их будет меньше, если это только возможно.

to wail his prelapsarian woes

gone are the sunny swamps of my youth
and the attractive females of my species
are here no more to frisk and frolic
the world is gone wherever in a handbasket
left to the inedible fur-balls in the grass
creepers all and skitterers in the night

and whoever be answered from the whirlwind and said
do not rail against me you spastic lizard
for i am whoever be if there be a whoever
the mighty maker of rocks and dust
i will make you new wives and children and siblings
and so many camels you won’t believe your eyes
