И этот вот испанец розы, тоже
горячей, темнокровной, спасший розу
Не раз от естества и помещая
В особый глаз, едва завидит где.
Помыслим ли о нем как спасшем меньше,
Хозяйку спутавшем с ее служанкой,
Страсть упустившем ради босоногой
Интрижки?.. Гений невезенья вовсе
Не сентименталист. Он просто зло,
Он зло в самом себе, тот, от чьего
Отчаянно сорвавшегося жеста
Грех осеняет все, он гений мысли,
Всей нашей сущности, он вред и вред,
Он гений тела, а оно наш мир,
Который прожит в ложных спазмах мысли.
